-
Do I need to complete any 'pre-study' before taking the course?
No. We assume that you hold at least a private pilot certificate but do not have any additional instrument knowledge or training. Our course is designed to be fully comprehensive and will prepare you to successfully pass your Instrument Rating Airplane knowledge test (IRA).
-
At what specific location & address will the course be held?
Our course is conducted in Austin, TX near the main international airport (KAUS). We use a comfortable conference space in a modern hotel which is also conveniently located for attendees that are coming in from out of town.

How soon can I take my FAA test after completing the course?
After a weekend of learning with us, you’ll be ready for your test. And as you might expect, recalling the knowledge and skills will be easiest when the information is fresh. Therefore, we recommend taking your test sometime during the week that immediately follows our course – if your schedule allows.
Our Guarantee
We proudly stand behind our FAA written test course with an industry-leading guarantee. Upon completion, if you receive an unsatisfactory result on your instrument knowledge test, you may reattend a future course at no cost.
